sun angles through api

Hello,
I want to add a heat stress overlay through the API, but it doesn't automatically add the values for the sun angles (SUNALTITUDE, SUNAZIMUTH and SUNDAILYMOTION). Is there a way to get the values for the sun altitude and sun azimuthal angle and add them through the API? Or perhaps there is another way to update the Tygron project such that it will calculate them the same way it does when using the configuration wizard?
