[TIP] New warning when using large template projects, and how to speed up loading
We recently implemented a new warning panel, that is shown when a user selects to generate a new project based on a large template, while the template is still loading in the background. You can check the status of the loading of the template on the advanced options panel on the map selection screen. As soon as the advanced options appear on these panels, the template is loaded, and the new project is ready to be generated.
In case you would like to use your template for more projects, and the template project itself is so large that it has a noticeable impact on loading times, we recommend to create a new template project as small as possible. You can even clear all buildings afterwards, to make loading times even faster. And you can remove the original large template project to save up on the total project area used in your domain.
