Temporarily turn off one or more overlays

Is it possible to temporarily turn off overlays? This is useful if you want to do a quick calculations without running all overlays which for a complex project can take a long time

Hi Jappe,

it is possible to activate and deactivate Overlays. Active Overlays are recalculated when the Project recalculates. Inactive Overlays are not recalculated. If an Overlay has results, is made inactive, and then changes are made to the Project and recalculated, the inactive Overlay(s) are not recalculated and they retain the results they already had.

A Grid Overlay is a calculated overlay. It uses a 2-dimensional grid for calculation, data storage and visualization. The calculation divides the entire project into a grid of equally sized square cells, with possible size per cell ranging from 0.25m² up to 100m², depending on the size of the project area. This amounts to anywhere from thousands to millions of cells per overlay.
