Options for the set up of the water system

Ik weet dat er diverse opties zijn en wat ze doen om rekening te houden met grondwater in de Rainfall overlay. Alleen de vraag: "Wat gebeurd er als je geen standaard grondwater grid selecteert of eigen exemplaar laad en geen water area's gebruikt?" weet ik het antwoord niet op.

Ik heb gezocht in de wiki maar het antwoord niet gevonden.

Dank je voor de link, die zocht ik. Alleen het antwoord wat er gebeurd als je zowel geen water area' s als grondwatergrid laad staat er volgens mij niet bij:

Step 2.2: initial groundwater level
In step 2.2, you can specify ground water levels. By default, ground water levels are assumed to be the same as the water level in the water level area (see previous section). Alternatively, the user can specify pre-defined initial groundwater levels (GHG,GLG and GVG for the Netherlands) or a GeoTiff with ground water levels in m below surface; see right-side pictures.

Wel staat bij step 2.1
Do Nothing: the surface water system effectively has infinite storage

Betekend dit dat ook groundwater oneindige berging heeft in dit geval. Dit zou ik niet onlogisch vinden.

In the Rainfall overlay on the LTS it is indeed true that if you in step 2.1 and 2.2 choose Do nothing in the Rainfall Wizard, the model assumes the surface water system and the groundwater both have infinite storage.
