Making 1 overlay of 166 Area sections and to color them according to a value

edited August 2021 in Data

What I'm having trouble with is making 1 overlay of 166 imported road sections (areas) and to color them according to an attribute containing numbers (z-scores). Doing this manually in the Legend is not feasible for me, because the 166 road sections are a selection of ~18,000 road sections in total which all need to be colored eventually.

I managed to rasterize them by adding the overlay called 'Avg'. I then selected the attribute z-scores and gave them a cell averages distance of 1 meter. I can clearly see now which road sections score high and low, with colors red and green, but I've lost my road section borders in the process because they're 1 m2 squares now because it turned into a grid.

Is there a way to do this without rasterizing?
