Implementing measures and lowering groynes

Hi,

We have a question about the implementation of measures;

We want to implement a side river but the screen keeps zooming in on a small part. Is there possibility to zoom out so you can easily make a larger measure like this. Otherwise you have to connect small sections to each other.

Our other question is if it is possible to lower the groynes in a river. Could you do this with a negative levee?

    Hi Marsha,

    If you want to create a completely new river in your project? Then I advise you to use the spatial measure in future design options. More information about spatial measrues can be found in this link: https://support.tygron.com/wiki/Measure#Spatials If the zoom level is not zoomed out enough for you, you can also use the blueprint option.

    Hereby, you first draw an area or make a design in GIS software and implement this in your measure as the new river. If you draw the river in the future design it will be available as a measure in a test run. If you want to make the river permanent in your project you can draw it in the 3D world, in the current design.

    To answer your second question: you can lower the river using the levee, hereby you should take notice of the difference between relative and absolute height. So if you want to lower the river by one meter you can use -1 (negative levee works indeed) as a relative, while absolute will lower it to -1m on the heightmap
