Calculating the costs

edited March 2021 in Editor

Hi,

Is it possible to link the costs that are calculated by Tygron for taking measures (Actions and Measures) in the Future Desing mode not to the costs of the buildings but to another (self-added) attribute?

My case is that I do not want to calculate the euros, but the MKI (Environmental Cost Indicator) and CO2. So, what I'd like to see is, in addition to the costs (€) I can also specify the MKI and CO2 of, for example, an asphalt road as an attribute and that those costs are also calculated when taking a measure.

  • Hi Ward,

The short answer is, no you cannot link the costs tha are generated by Tygron automatically when taking measures to another attribute.

What you can do is create an attribute that represent the costs that you want to calculate and use that for a calculation in a seperate excel file in f.e. an indicator or a panel.

Or make use of a global to link a certain value by an event within your measure, an update statement for your global in an Excel, or a query for the global itself.

On this wiki page more information is available on how to edit events in a measure: https://previewsupport.tygron.com/wiki/Editing_Events

For more information on how to use globals please check this wiki page: https://previewsupport.tygron.com/wiki/Global

Does this info help you get on track?

    Kind regards,
