Result types Vegetation and Vegetation_avg
Hi,
I have a question about the result type Vegetation. I'd like to ask Tygron what the percentage of vegetation is for a specific area. So I though about using the result type Vegetation (output of the Heat overlay). But I am not sure I can use this result type for my question. When I look at my current project, it seems that the Vegetation result type indicates whether or not vegetation is present. The answer is either 0% or 100%.
The other option I considered is the result type vegetation avg (als output of the Heat overlay). While the Vegetatin avg gives a more accurate answer (ie not boolean) I am not sure what the difference is with the other one result type. I read the wiki, but perhaps I didnt read the right page (Sorry in that case).

Hi Ward,
The Vegetation result type shows indeed if there is vegetation or not. The Vegetation average result type shows the average of the Green Space function value and the Vegetation fraction of the Terrain per cell. See for more information: https://previewsupport.tygron.com/wiki/Vegetation_fraction_(Heat_Overlay)
