Choose your own CRS for a WMS

We've had a number of questions lately about accessing the WMS of the Tygron Platform via other applications which may be a bit more strict about CRS compatibility. To facilitate these, we have recently added the option to specify a CRS for a WMS as a query parameter, so that you can always obtain one that is most relevant to your project. Simple add a CRS query parameter to your WMS links as follows:

https://engine.tygron.com/web/wms?REQUEST=GetCapabilities&token=[...]&CRS=28992

This method also allows you to obtain any CRS you wish regardless of the inherent Project settings.

Note that although we can cater in a lot of Coordinate Reference Systems, it is up to you to determine which one is apt for your project area. Use 28992 for the Netherlands, 21370 for Belgium, etc. But once you know which one you want, getting the results how you want them is even easier then before!

Sprawling spreadsheets so intricate Alexander the Great cuts them in half.
